Job Title: 2nd Shift Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

This role focuses on the precision assembly of cardiovascular medical devices and related components in a cleanroom environment. You will perform detailed electronic or mechanical assembly using hand tools, follow assembly drawings and instructions, and complete documentation to ensure each product meets strict quality and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform electronic or mechanical assembly of cardiovascular medical devices, including plastic valves, stents, disposables, and assemblies used in heart pumping machines.
  • Use small hand tools and equipment to complete fine, detailed assembly tasks with a high level of accuracy.
  • Work efficiently on an assembly line while meeting production goals and maintaining consistent quality.
  • Read and interpret assembly drawings, instructions, and travelers to understand specifications and required steps.
  • Accurately sign off on travelers and other production documentation to verify that assembly processes are completed as required.
  • Follow cleanroom procedures and protocols at all times to maintain product integrity and a contamination-free environment.
  • Adhere to established work instructions, safety guidelines, and quality standards throughout the production process.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve assembly issues and ensure smooth production flow.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper handling and storage of tools, materials, and components.

Work Environment

This position is based in a cleanroom production environment focused on assembling medical devices. You will work 2nd shift hours from 5:30 p.m. to 4:00 a.m., Monday through Thursday, with the possibility of additional work on Fridays. The work involves standing or sitting at an assembly line, using hand tools for small, precise tasks, and carefully following detailed instructions and quality procedures. Cleanroom protocols apply to attire and personal presentation to prevent contamination; employees must follow all dress and grooming guidelines as specified by company cleanroom standards

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
