Job description

Position Title: Line Assembly Operator

Department: Manufacturing / Production

Location: Katy, TX

Position Summary

The Line Assembly Operator is responsible for performing hands-on assembly tasks on a production line to manufacture high quality products safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards. This role supports daily production goals, ensures product consistency, and maintains a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble components and products according to standardized work instructions.

• Operate hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and production equipment as required.

• Perform repetitive tasks with accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail.

• Conduct visual and functional inspections of parts to ensure quality standards are met.

• Report any defects, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns to the Line Lead immediately.

• Follow all safety protocols, PPE requirements, and company policies.

• Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency.

• Keep workstations organized and contribute to 5S/lean manufacturing initiatives.

• Assist team members and perform other duties off the assembly line as assigned to support production goals.

Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma or GED.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift, up to 50lbs. for extended periods.
