We are hiring for a SECOND SHIFT - Stevens location
Hours are: 2:30 - 11 (with mandatory OT & Saturdays)
As a meat packaging laborer, you will work in a fast-paced production environment, performing manual labor across all aspects of packaging various meat products. All laborers will be required to assist in any department (other than their primary department) when and where their assistance is required. All employees are required to work safely.
Essential Functions:
Mark product bins, cages, and carts with identifying code information.
Must be capable of lifting 30-40 lbs. frequently, in addition to pushing/pulling fully loaded meat cages & product bins.
Document all production-related activities pertaining to the Product Traceability Computer System.
Keeps work area neat, clean, and hazard-free.
Consistent & reliable attendance.
The ability to follow instructions and procedures.
A good understanding of health and safety and basic hygiene rules.
Good powers of observation to spot problems with produce the ability to maintain. Concentration for repetitive tasks.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Good teamwork skills, the ability to work alone, and a willingness to work flexibly.
