Job description

Entry level positions available for an established ceramic manufacturer. Du-Co Ceramics Company is family owned and has been in business for over 70 years.
Extruder Operator Duties:
  • Operates extrusion presses to extrude pre-determined lengths of ceramic ware
  • Uses established methods for removal of extruded lengths and transfer to drying board
  • Scores loaded boards in accordance with established methods and work order instructions.
  • Shuts off equipment if ware is not conforming to specifications or malfunctions and notifies set up personnel.
  • Prepares daily production record
  • Assists department personnel in moving of ceramic ware to areas designated.
  • Maintains a clean and orderly work area.

These are not assembly line positions. Work environment is not climate controlled.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6a-2:30pm; Over-Time as required
