Job description

The Opportunity
Florence Corporation, the nation's leading manufacturer in quality mailboxes is now hiring Manufacturing Production Team Members for 1st and 2nd shift. Manufacturing, production or warehouse experience is helpful however we provide hands-on training. Manufacturing Team Members perform in variety of jobs to assemble, fabricate and build components used to make multi-unit mailboxes.

We are hiring for both shifts, the hours are:
  • 1st shift: 5:00am to 3:30pm Monday through Thursday. Fridays either volunteer or mandatory and usually a 6-8 hour shift.
  • 2nd shift: 3:30pm to 2:00am Monday through Thursday. Fridays either volunteer or mandatory and usually a 6-8 hour shift.

What we need
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn new things
  • Punctuality and good attendance
  • Ability to stand, lift, walk and bend for up to 10 hours per shift
  • Ability to work well with others in an hands-on physical work environment
  • Ability to learn product specifications to ensure product quality
  • Ability to learn and follow verbal and written work instructions
  • Ability to learn new positions, become cross-trained, and rotate jobs
  • The ability to understand quality requirements to ensure customer satisfaction of products
  • Ability to maintain assembly line pace and work with a sense of urgency when needed
  • Able to effectively operate drills, screw guns, rivet guns, wrenches, ratchets, screwdrivers, hammers, grinders, cut-off tool, electric power lifts, manual pallet jacks, tape dispensers
  • Other duties as assigned
