About the Role
As a Research & Development (R&D) Technician, you will be responsible for assisting in the building, fabricating and procurement of parts and subcomponents of various experimental test equipment, as well as running experiments & measurements, as directed by other members of the R&D group. This is an onsite role.
Reporting Line
Reports to: R&D Project Manager
Your Role
  • Owns internal testing operations and operates qualification equipment under R&D purview.
  • Supports the integration, removal, modification and maintenance of testing equipment and semiconductor tools in a clean room environment.
  • Supports the assembly process of advanced semiconductor metrology tools and sub-systems.
  • Accountable for the fabrication of simple cables and modification of mechanical parts.
  • Create and enforce an organization system for clean room and assembly environments.
  • Responsible for the inventory and replenishment of spare parts and consumables.
  • Interface with Manufacturing groups to procure pre-designed custom cables or parts.
  • Interface with the operations team to procure components, subsystems and ensure infrastructure requirements are satisfied.
  • Assist with the cleaning of high vacuum parts as needed.
  • Owns 3D printing tools maintenance and assists engineers in 3D prints builds.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications (Required)
  • 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Associates or Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer engineering or equivalent
  • Experience in the field of semiconductors
  • Ability to engage a cross-functional team towards a desired outcome
  • Ability to organize and plan use of time effectively and efficiently
  • Comfortable with common power tools
  • Team player with proven ability to solve problems and work collaboratively
  • Ability to use machining tools
  • Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms-length, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Basic MS office or Google suite experience
Qualifications (Bonus to Have)
  • Experience with vacuum systems and their derivatives
  • Jira software experience
  • Ability to solder or weld
  • Rigging experience
Position Details
The hourly salary range for this full-time position is $38-$46/hour + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and EUV Tech's location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the respective role. Within the range, individual pay is determined by the following factors: job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
