Description

Are you looking to further develop your skills as a Lead Production Associate? In this role, you will assist the Molding Supervisor in achieving production goals, maintaining efficient operations, and ensuring equipment is running properly. We would love to hear from you! 

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities 

  • Perform color changes and maintain accurate records of all colorant changes. 
  • Assist the Molding Supervisor with employee breaks and lunches to ensure machines remain operational. 
  • Support the Molding Supervisor with daily maintenance activities and required paperwork. 
  • Box and package modular tile products on an assembly line. 
  • Operate two to three molding machines simultaneously in a fast-paced, repetitive manufacturing environment. 
  • Inspect products for quality and defects to ensure high standards are met. 
  • Start and stop injection molding presses and coating lines as required. 
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with employees across multiple departments. 
  • Operate a forklift to move materials and finished products as needed. 
  • Promote and maintain a safe working environment. 
  • Perform general housekeeping duties, including sweeping and maintaining clean work areas. 
  • Comply with ISO 9001 standards and support 5S Visual Workplace and Lean Manufacturing initiatives. 

What We'd Love About You  

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred. 
  • Minimum of one year of injection molding experience preferred. 
  • Forklift certification required. 
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. 
  • Basic math skills are helpful. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining quality and safety standards.
