Position Summary

The Warehouse Associate plays a vital role in ensuring our customers receive accurate, high-quality products on time. This position supports receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, product assembly, packaging, shipping, and warehouse organization.


Warehouse Associates are cross-trained in multiple functions and may rotate between responsibilities based on business needs. This position offers opportunities to develop new skills while supporting the success of the team. Success in this role requires attention to detail, adaptability, teamwork, and a commitment to safety and quality.


Essential Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Order Fulfillment

  • Pick, verify, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Package products using proper materials while ensuring orders meet company quality standards.
  • Prepare shipments according to established carrier and customer requirements.
  • Assist with freight shipments and special shipping requests.


Receiving & Inventory

  • Receive, inspect, and organize incoming inventory.
  • Verify shipments against purchase orders and receiving documents.
  • Report shortages, damages, or inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory through system transactions, cycle counts, audits, and physical inventory.


Product Assembly

  • Assemble kits and package products according to established specifications.
  • Verify completed products contain the correct components and quantities.
  • Identify and report quality concerns or product defects.


Warehouse Operations

  • Utilize warehouse equipment, barcode scanners, computers, and company software to complete daily tasks.
  • Maintain accurate inventory, shipping, and receiving records.
  • Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely when trained and authorized.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all company procedures and safety policies.


Teamwork

  • Cross-train in multiple warehouse functions.
  • Assist coworkers and other departments as business needs require.
  • Communicate professionally with team members and supervisors.
  • Participate in training and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Basic computer and data entry skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Ability to bend, reach, twist, squat, and perform repetitive movements.
  • Ability to frequently use hands for scanning, assembling, packaging, and handling products.
  • Ability to safely lift, carry, and move products weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work safely around warehouse equipment and moving inventory.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced production or distribution environment is preferred.
