Engine Systems, Inc. is hiring a Shop Electrician I in our Rocky Mount, NC facility. 27804


  • Assembly of control panels and associated components:
  • Layout and mount various electrical and mechanical components
  • Panel wiring in accordance with provided drawings
  • Perform functional testing in accordance with established procedures
  • Fabrication of various in-house designed sheet metal components
  • Bending and forming of rigid conduit and various tubing materials
  • Perform special testing as required
  • Perform troubleshooting of electrical control systems
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • High School diploma or Associates Degree in Electrical / Electronics preferred, but not required.
  • Electrical AC/DC theory.
  • Must be able to read and understand electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and layout drawings.                       
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and control systems a plus.
  • Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint preferred, but not required
  • Self-motivated and multi-task oriented with good organizational skills
