Job description

Impact Electronic Solutions - Grants Pass Location (ESAM) - Position Description

Summary of Position:

Using company Assembly Instructions builds components to customer specifications. Tests assemblies and trouble shooting problems as required. Reports status to supervisor and manager and updates material requests as needed.

Duties:

  1. Follow verbal and written instructions.
  2. Perform various assembly operations working from samples, sketches, wire schematics and drawings.
  3. Use various hand tools.
  4. Understand torque values and use wrench properly.
  5. Ensure workmanship meets regulations and specifications.
  6. Fill out paperwork: Certs, test, inspection, etc.
  7. Work under time constraints.
  8. Perform special assignments and other duties as required.

Requirements:

  1. Able to distinguish colors.
  2. Able to read small print.
  3. Have excellent manual dexterity.
  4. Stand or sit for eight (8) or more hours per day.
  5. Computer literate.
  6. Must be able to work overtime and weekends.
