Job description

Mazak Corporation is looking for an Assembly Supervisor to join the Assembly department in the Production Facility. The Assembly Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of production in their assigned areas while ensuring quality measures are adhered to.
Scope and Responsibilities:
Essential duties include, but are not limited to the following:
• Ensure overall quality of product
• Product meets current specifications
• Track workflow progress of machine builds
• Communicate well with associates and outside departments
• Complete employee performance reviews in a timely manner.
• PM maintenance on equipment in assembly department
• Oversee calibration program in assembly department
• Complete associate's performance reviews
• Oversee any disciplinary action for direct workers in group.
Education/Certification:
• High school diploma required.
• Associate's degree preferred.
Skills:
• Current experience on assembly procedures
• Basic mechanical skills
• Good communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft software products (outlook, excel, power point)
• Ability to read assembly drawings and BOM's
• Able to use AS400 software
