Job Purpose: The Machine Assembly Technician is responsible for installing and assembling precision deep-hole drilling machines and related systems to meet quality and performance standards. This role ensures accurate integration of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components while supporting equipment maintenance and a safe, organized work environment. The technician works collaboratively with the Assembly team to deliver reliable, high-quality equipment.
Essential Functions include the following. Other duties may be assigned.1. Install mechanical components of Dehoff, Eldorado, and TechniDrill precision deep-hole drilling machines, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.2. Assemble coolant systems, chip conveyers, automation equipment, and other auxiliary machine systems.3. Provide red-line drawing changes for discrepancies or alternations, if necessary.4. Provide maintenance support on all equipment, machines, and the facility as required.5. Abide by all safety policies and procedures, attend safety training, and perform proper housekeeping by keeping work area clean and organized.6. Maintain confidentiality as appropriate.
Qualifications and Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Associate degree from a technical school or equivalent combination of education, training, and at least two (2) years of hands-on experience in equipment assembly, maintenance, or industrial machinery is preferred.3. Demonstrated experience working with machinery systems, including hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical components.4. Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and mechanical drawings accordingly.5. Proven ability to collaborate effectively and work as part of a team.
