Job description

Job Title: Packaging Production Associate
Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Cary, NC
Schedule: Rotating Nights, 7:00pm – 5:30am
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Packaging Production Associate to support the production of high-quality products while meeting safety, quality, and on-time delivery requirements. This position performs routine packaging activities under regular supervision and reports to the Supervisor, Packaging.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review daily work schedules, job specifications, and required materials
  • Perform hand collating, final assembly, kit building, and other packaging activities
  • Place materials in the correct sequence and ensure packaging accuracy
  • Inspect products for quality defects and report issues to the line lead
  • Pack completed products onto pallets, in cartons, or onto carts
  • Operate basic packaging equipment such as shrink wrappers and cartoners under supervision
  • Stage materials and assist with preparing jobs for upcoming production runs
  • Record time and material usage accurately in the MIS system
  • Follow all safety, housekeeping, quality, security, ISO, and company procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Work effectively with the packaging team to meet production and customer requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • No previous experience required; manufacturing experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Basic computer/MIS skills
  • Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Physical Requirements
