Job Description
Join Teledyne Qioptiq and help build advanced semiconductor solutions! We're seeking an Assembly Technician to support precision assembly operations in a dynamic environment. If you have strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude, this role is for you.
What you'll do
  • Assemble discrete and multichip semiconductor packages.
  • Dispense encapsulant and cure products.
  • Load and unload assembly fixtures and operate complex manufacturing equipment (e.g., vacuum reflow furnaces, laser marking systems, dicing saws, pick-and-place machines).
  • Maintain clean and organized workspaces.
  • Follow detailed written and verbal instructions for assembly processes.
What you need
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision and attention to detail (required)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and wear PPE including respirators (required)
  • Steady hands for manual placement of small components (.030") and experience using microscopes and tweezers (required)
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (required)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and computer proficiency (advantage)
  • Knowledge of electrical/electronic components and terminology (advantage)
  • Experience in semiconductor packaging or soldering (advantage)
