Overview

We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Assembly Trainees. This entry-level position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop foundational skills in mechanical assembly, technical interpretation, and manufacturing processes within a dynamic industrial environment. As an Assembly Trainee, you will gain hands-on experience working with precision measuring instruments, hand and power tools, and interpreting technical drawings and schematics. This paid role is designed to nurture your growth in the manufacturing sector while contributing to high-quality production standards.

Duties

  • Assist in the assembly of mechanical components following detailed blueprints, schematics, and production documents
  • Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to ensure components meet specifications
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized industrial equipment safely and efficiently
  • Interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately to support mechanical assembly tasks
  • Conduct quality checks using shop math and precision measurement techniques to verify component accuracy
  • Support the handling of materials through manual handling procedures and warehouse experience practices
  • Follow safety protocols including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) during all tasks

Qualifications

  • Basic mechanical knowledge with an understanding of assembly processes and technical drawings
  • Experience or familiarity with measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools (nice-to-have)
