Job Responsibilities:
As an Assembly Operator at Magna Seating South Carolina, you will play a key role in assembling automotive seat systems that go directly to major vehicle manufacturers. We are proud to be part of Magna International, one of the largest automotive suppliers in the world, and a Tier 1 supplier for this critical product. In this role, you'll rotate through various tasks on the production line and contribute to building high-quality products in a fast-paced environment focused on safety, quality, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
โ€ข Assemble mechanical components using hand and power tools
โ€ข Rotate between tasks.
โ€ข Read and follow work instructions, blueprints, or diagrams accurately
โ€ข Perform quality checks and identify defective or non-conforming parts
โ€ข Assist in plant duties such as parts inspection, inventory, cleanup, and minor equipment maintenance
โ€ข Report safety, quality, or production issues to supervisors in a timely manner
โ€ข Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate Personal Protection Equipment at all times (e.g., Gloves, Glasses)
โ€ข Maintain a clean and organized workstation (5S compliance)
โ€ข Participate in continuous improvement and team-based problem solving
โ€ข Attend training sessions and complete required materials
