Job Responsibilities
As an Assembly and Packaging Associate, you will have a direct impact on airline customer satisfaction and be part of a team responsible for preparing products for flights out of LAX.
FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Build kits of dry goods, liquor, beverage, and equipment items into airline containers according to airline specifications
  • Assemble completed kits and various bulk items into airline carts, carriers, etc. according to specifications, boarding check-sheets, and assembly diagrams.
  • Keep production areas in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
  • Document inventory usage in compliance with regulatory and company requirements
  • Comply with hygiene, jewelry, and use of PPE requirements
  • Additional duties may be assigned as deemed necessary

QUALIFICATIONS and SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Previous airline catering or production assembly work preferred
  • Must have a current food handler card
  • Must be able to read and write in English
  • Effective communication with supervisors and co-workers
  • Reliable attendance and ability to work overtime on occasion
  • Must be able to work in an operation that is a 24/7, 365-day environment and be flexible with shift/day off changes
  • Must be comfortable working in cold temperatures of 40 degrees

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move 25-50lbs frequently
  • Regularly stands, bends, and performs repetitive movements during work shift
