The Position
This position supports the overall Membership Workgroup in executing efforts to enhance member value, engagement, and retention. Assists membership with data, member record maintenance, and communication. Additionally, this position will support various membership initiatives and administrative tasks.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and have previous experience using CRM/AMS systems or marketing automation tools within a membership or association environment.
The hourly pay range for this role is $19 - $23.99/hr. Any extended offer is based on the candidate's experience and overall fit for the role.
Main Responsibilities
  • Supports the Membership Workgroup by collaborating with internal partners, using marketing automation tools and reports, meeting established deadlines, and maintaining effective communication and strong relationships with third-party partners.

  • Supports the management and documentation of standard operating procedures for all membership-related functions, including maintaining workgroup policies, procedures, SOPs, and process documentation to ensure materials are current, accurate, consistently formatted, and stored in the appropriate shared repository. Maintains document version history, including revision dates, changes made, approvals, and archived versions, and coordinates periodic reviews with process owners.

  • Oversees multiple e-mail inboxes, ensuring member inquiries are addressed promptly, accurately, and thoroughly while maintaining a high standard of customer service.

  • Identifies recurring member issues, process gaps, administrative inefficiencies, and trends in customer care team support requests, and recommends improvements to membership processes, communications, documentation, and standard operating procedures. Works closely with the internal customer care team to address membership-related questions, inquiries, and complaints.

  • Update and maintain committee records in CRM/AMS. Supports advanced, retired, and hardship membership workflows for individual members.

  • Ensures version history and updates to membership applications, collateral and website.

  • Works with the Office Services team to coordinate all Membership shipping needs.

  • Manage Membership workgroup inventory and storage of pins, frames, conference supplies, and workgroup archived materials.

  • Adheres to ASQ Competencies: Trust, Accountability, Collaboration, and Transparency.

  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
Hybrid Office Environment with Tuesdays & Wednesdays in office at the Milwaukee Headquarters location. Must be able to travel up to 5%.

  • A high school diploma

  • A minimum of three years of experience in customer service and administrative support

  • Or an equivalent combination of experience and education

  • Must be able to comply with attendance and timeliness policies.
