What You'll Do

As a Construction Inspector, you'll help ensure construction projects are completed safely, accurately, and in compliance with project specifications and applicable standards.

Responsibilities include:

  • Inspect roadway, bridge, utility, commercial, and civil construction projects.
  • Verify contractor work complies with project plans, specifications, standards, and contract requirements.
  • Observe construction activities and document daily field operations.
  • Inspect earthwork, grading, concrete placement, asphalt paving, drainage systems, utilities, and structural components.
  • Perform or coordinate materials testing, including concrete, soil, and asphalt testing when required.
  • Prepare accurate daily inspection reports and project documentation.
  • Identify construction deficiencies and work with contractors and engineers to resolve issues.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and public agencies.
  • Promote and maintain a safe work environment while following all company and client safety requirements.

Travel Requirements

This position requires travel throughout the state of Arizona. Some assignments may require overnight stays or extended travel depending on project location.For eligible travel assignments, QT provides a company vehicle and per diem, allowing you to focus on delivering quality work while supporting projects across the state.
