Paving Professionals is looking to add to our growing company!
We are seeking a commercial rehab and new construction estimator/project manager.  This is an estimating, sales, and project management combined position. 
      We pride ourselves on 5 star quality work with a consultative approach. Our service area is within a 70 mile radius of Raleigh NC. We are looking for a seasoned asphalt new construction and parking lot rehab estimator. We are seeking someone with experience that can accurately do take-offs, read plans, work with excel, word and microsoft outlook to estimate new construction and rehabalitation paving jobs.          We work with reputable general contractors and property owners rehabilatating existing parking lots and installing new ones.  We self perfom Stone Installation, Asphalt Paving and Patching, Milling, Sealcoating and Striping, Thermoplastic, Signs, Grading etc.  We also utilize subcontractors to perform concrete and other civil trades to build package parking lot deals for customers. 
      Candidate will cultivate our current new construction and rehab customers and will look for new opportunities locally. You will meet with new clients and existing clients, schedule on-site meetings to value engineer solutions for their parking lot problems.  Building estimates and converting into hand tailored proposals including sitemaps and pictures (we have a proprietary software to easily build proposals).  There are foreman that run the crews and an operations manager that oversees the foreman and day to day operations. 
     You will be required to project manage the jobs at a higher level, ensuring timelines are met and material quotes and costs are captured.  Most projects are 1-20 day projects. Experience with DOT road construction compliance standards is a plus, as some jobs require it. Handicap layouts, laws and compliance experience is also a plus.  We will provide you with leads and existing customers but you will be expected to cultivate new relationships.  Needs to be able to take a project from a sale to completion while working with the operations team. Needs to be able to communicate with customer during the projects and document any possible unforeseen issues to protect the best interest of the company.  Must be able to work in a team environment. 
This is a salary position with revenue based commission.
