Craft Beer Guild Distributing of NY, a member of the Sheehan Family Companies, has an excellent full-time opportunity in our sales department. We are currently looking for an ASM / Sales Supervisor.

The ASM / Sales Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the successful growth of the Company’s market share and ensuring the continued growth of sales and distribution while maintaining control of expenses.

Competitive salary range of $75,000 - $85,000 annually, plus bonus potential.

OBJECTIVE: To ensure the successful growth of the Company’s market share and to ensure the continued growth of sales and distribution while maintaining control of expenses.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Maintain effective customer relations and promote the company’s goodwill throughout the trade area.
•Supervise and direct assigned Sales Reps to ensure the greatest possible sales and distribution of products and maintain morale and motivation.
•Implement and execute the marketing strategies of the Company.
•Schedule personnel to cover promotional activities.
•Assist in handling supplier relationships as required.
•Identify and emphasize sales and placements in key accounts.
•Organize the sales department's structure, including assigning accounts, territories, and product lines.
•Recruitment, selection, and training of the sales force.
•Review customer credit status and shipments with the Credit Manager.
•Assist in projecting sales and in ordering products.
•Prepare monthly sales objectives and plan of action related to business activities.
•Maintain awareness of the industry and respond to new developments.


REQUIREMENTS:
•BA. /BS. Degree.
•Position requires 5-7 years of previous sales experience in a beer, wine and spirit or consumer goods sales environment.
•Excellent managerial, communication, and leadership capabilities.
•Knowledge of legal requirements regarding the sale and delivery of alcoholic beverages.
