Minimum Qualifications:
Team members and candidates must meet the minimum qualifications to be considered for this specific position:
  • Must be 21 year or older.
  • Ability to learn and continuously demonstrate proper Bloodborne Pathogen clean up procedures.
  • Ability to learn and continuously demonstrate safe handling of all chemicals.
  • Must maintain a high level of attention to detail, including while performing multiple tasks at one time (“multitasking”).
  • Must have a flexible work schedule that allows for the ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Essential Duties:
Team members and candidates must be able to perform the following duties with or without a reasonable accommodation:
  • Clean and polish lighting fixtures, counter surfaces, and trim in and around the building.
  • Occasionally assist hotel guests with luggage.
  • Thoroughly clean, and at times deep clean, offices, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, breakrooms, and other work areas as assigned.
  • Sweep, vacuum, scrub, wax, and polish casino floors as needed.
  • Polish slot machines as needed.
  • Clean and disinfect slot machines, chairs, and pedestals on a regular basis.
  • Wash and clean walls and woodwork throughout the casino.
  • Assist in cleaning mirrored ceilings as needed.
  • Empty and replace trash liners in all trashcans throughout the casino floor.
  • Empty out ash trays on the slot machines and pick up any ash debris left over by guests.
  • Adhere to all safety and Max Casino policies whilst lifting and using Max Casino approved chemicals.
  • Must comply with all Safety Data Sheets information and ensure all chemicals are properly labeled and secured.
  • Inform supervisor or Manager on Duty of any maintenance and safety issues timely.
  • Perform carpet shampoo and vacuuming during graveyard hours or as available based on business needs.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Porter Supervisor and/or Casino Operations Manager.
