After-School Nanny Needed – Immediate Hire (Blue Ash)


A warm, welcoming family in Blue Ash is seeking a dependable and engaging after-school nanny to care for their wonderful 7-year-old son. This is a great opportunity for someone who truly enjoys working with school-age children and becoming a trusted part of a family’s routine.


About their son: 

The young boy attends Cincinnati Classical Academy (Redding location), just about 10 minutes from home. He’s bright, curious, and playful, with a love for chess, Jenga, board games, tennis, soccer, and classic games like hide-and-seek. He thrives with caregivers who are attentive, patient, and genuinely enjoy engaging with him.


Home Environment

The family home is warm and family-oriented, with two friendly poodles and a fenced-in backyard that’s perfect for outdoor play, fresh air, and time with the dogs.


Schedule & Pay

Monday–Friday: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Additional care: Occasional overnights when mom travels (includes morning routine and school drop-off)


Start date: Immediate

Pay: $20–$22 per hour


The Role

This position focuses on creating a calm, fun, and structured after-school routine. Responsibilities include:

School pick-up and transportation as needed

Homework support and enrichment activities

Encouraging active play, games, and outdoor time

Providing consistency, structure, and a nurturing presence

Assisting with overnights and school mornings during occasional work travel
