Job description

Pinnacle Site Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced, certified Heavy Equipment DieselMechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of heavy trucks and construction equipment. The idealcandidate will have strong diesel, hydraulic, electrical, and diagnostic experience and be able tocomplete repairs independently in both shop and field environments.Pay: $35–$40 per hour, based on experience and certificationsResponsibilities● Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes,transmissions, drivetrains, suspension, and HVAC systems● Service excavators, dozers, loaders, skid steers, dump trucks, and other constructionequipment● Perform preventive maintenance and routine equipment inspections● Troubleshoot equipment using diagnostic software, service manuals, and schematics● Complete repairs in the shop and on active job sites● Perform road tests and operational checks when authorized● Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records● Communicate repair needs, timelines, and parts requirements to management● Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area● Follow all company and OSHA safety requirementsRequired Qualifications● At least three years of experience repairing heavy trucks or construction equipment● Current diesel or heavy-equipment mechanic certification● Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, drivetrains, brakes,and diagnostic equipment● Ability to diagnose and complete repairs independently● Ability to read service manuals, schematics, and diagnostic reports● Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record● Must provide basic hand tools● Must pass required background screening and drug testingPreferred Certifications and Credentials● Active ASE Medium/Heavy Truck certifications (T1–T8)● ASE Master Medium/Heavy Truck Technician certification● Active ASE Construction Equipment certifications (E1–E3)● ASE Master Construction Equipment Technician certification● OEM-specific training or certifications for manufacturers such as Caterpillar, Cummins,Detroit Diesel, Volvo, International, Freightliner, or John Deere● EPA Section 609 certification for servicing vehicle air-conditioning systems andhandling refrigerants● Commercial Driver's License (CDL)● Welding or fabrication certification● Diesel Technology degree, diploma, or recognized vocational trainingAll certifications must be current and will be verified during the hiring process.
