Job description

ASCO Equipment has a career opportunity for a Warehouse Clerk - Shipping/Receiving Specialist in Sherman, Texas. The Warehouse Clerk & Shipping Specialists will be responsible for aiding the parts department in fulfilling shipping and stocking needs. The Warehouse Clerk will verify and keep detailed records of incoming and outgoing shipments of  parts and more by managing the warehouse inventory orders and returns.

Responsibilities:
  • Receives daily shipments and maintains clear and accurate records 
  • Physically unpack, examen and route incoming shipments
  • Reports shortages, rejects damaged items and process returns or credits  
  • Accurately match orders with packing slips  
  • Operate lift truck/hand trucks to move materials to designated areas  
  • Operate stretch wrap bander and PB crimp tools
  • Make pickups and deliveries to suppliers using company truck/van

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as Warehouse Specialist and Parts is preferred    
  • Ability to work in a fast paced/high volume warehouse 
  • Detail oriented, time management, organization and teamwork skills 
  • Excellent communication skills, initiative and follow through  
  • Proficient computer skills, and experience with tracking & shipping programs 
  • A personal dedication to work safety and with accountability
  • Must be able to pick up at least 50lbs
  • Acceptable driving record
