As a Teller I/II, you will be expected to provide exceptional customer service, accurately and efficiently process transactions, and build relationships with our customers. Key Responsibilities:

  • Process deposits, withdrawals, payments, transfers, cashier's checks, and change orders accurately.
  • Ensure all transactions comply with internal policies, limits, and banking regulations.
  • Assist customers in person and via phone with account inquiries, online/mobile banking issues, and general questions.
  • Promote and refer ASB products and services to strengthen customer relationships.
  • Complete regulatory reporting (OFAC, CTR) and account closing checklists promptly.
  • Represent ASB positively and adhere to core values and policies.

Expectations:

  • Complete timely, accurate transactions and maintain balanced cash drawer daily.
  • Provide professional, courteous service and answer calls promptly.
  • Follow all compliance requirements and seek guidance when needed.
  • Complete assigned training and actively participate in team meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Previous banking or cash-handling experience, preferred.


Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Requires a high school diploma, vocational training, or equivalent and customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated sales and cash handling experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, use tact and diplomacy; maintain professional dress and demeanor.
  • Ability to use considerable judgment and initiative to resolve problems and make recommendations.
  • All candidates will be required to complete a pre-employment background and credit check.

Availability

  • Availability to work a 4 to 5 hour shift between 8:00AM to 5:00PM Monday through Friday and rotating Saturdays from 8:40AM-12:15PM.
  • Shifts will primarily be at Andover location, with occasional shifts at our Wichita location.
