Common Search & ComparisonAs Driver vs Delivery Driver

While both roles involve driving, As Driver typically refers to transporting passengers or general goods, whereas Delivery Driver focuses on delivering specific items like food or packages. The credentials and work environments overlap significantly, but the primary difference lies in the nature of the delivery and the industry context.

What kind of driver makes the most money?

Commercial drivers such as long-haul truck drivers and specialized delivery drivers tend to earn the highest wages among driver roles due to the demanding nature of their work, extended hours, and required certifications like a commercial driver's license (CDL).
