Role Overview
This role requires an expert-level background in Cisco enterprise routing and switching, large-scale Meraki & Aruba wireless deployments, and software-defined wide area networking (SD-WAN). The ideal candidate will serve as a technical authority, leading complex infrastructure projects and mentoring junior engineering staff.
Key Responsibilities
  • Routing & Switching: Manage, configure, and troubleshoot complex Cisco routing switching and Cisco ACI environments using advanced protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, Nexus Switches technologies (VPC , FEX , VDC , VXLAN, Leaf and Spine ).
  • Wireless Deployment: Oversee the lifecycle deployment, management ,configuration, and security optimization of multi-vendor wireless networks (Cisco Catalyst, Cisco Meraki, and Aruba).
  • SD-WAN Deployment: Must have goods hands-on, deploy, and maintain robust SD-WAN architectures utilizing VMware VeloCloud SD-WAN technology.
  • Tier 3 Escalation: Handle all P1 and P2 incidents and drive till RCA closure, Need to work with multiple towers and vendors, Act as the ultimate technical escalation point for critical network outages, performance degradation, and complex root-cause analyses.
  • Security & Compliance: Implement and enforce network security policies, firewall integrations, and secure access controls across wired and wireless setups.
  • Mentorship: Provide technical leadership, architectural governance, and mentorship to mid-level and junior network engineers.

Required Skills:
  • Cisco Mastery: Deep, authoritative knowledge of Cisco enterprise portfolios (Catalyst switches (3750,3850,9300 and 9500 series switches) , Nexus data center(7K/5K/9K) switches, and ISR/ASR routers) ,Cisco ACI technology with good hands on and Troubleshooting experience .
  • Wireless Expertise: Proven track record managing enterprise-grade wireless infrastructures using Cisco AireOS ( 2500 series , 5500 and 9800 series WLC and AP Cisco Meraki, and Aruba architectures.
  • SD-WAN Expertise: Direct, hands-on experience designing and operating VMware VeloCloud SD-WAN solutions.
  • Protocols: Expert-level understanding of IP routing (EIGRP, OSPF EIGRP), quality of service (QoS), MPLS, and network security standards.

Certifications (Preferred)
  • Cisco CCNP/CCIE (Routing switching /Wireless)
  • VMware Certified Technical Associate / Professional - Network Virtualization (VeloCloud)

Mandatory Skills: Networking Data Infra Consulting.
Experience: 8-10 Years.
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $80,000 to $173,800 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
