Job Title: Network Engineer with Aruba and Palo Alto experience
Location: Boston, MA (Onsite)
Responsibilities:
Design, configure, and troubleshoot complex networking environments, with a focus on routing and switching technologies.
Implement and manage Aruba SD-WAN solutions, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security of the network.
Work closely with the security team to integrate Palo Alto network security appliances and software, enhancing the overall security posture of the organization.
Conduct network assessments and performance analyses to identify and rectify any issues proactively.
Collaborate with IT team members and other departments to understand network requirements and provide technical solutions to meet business needs.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for network architecture, configurations, processes, and service records.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior network engineers and technical staff.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in networking, with a strong background in routing, switching, and network design.
Proficiency with Aruba SD-WAN technologies and solutions.
Experience with Palo Alto network security products is highly preferred.
In-depth understanding of network protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS) and network infrastructure technologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex projects and multi-task effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders across the organization.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, Aruba Certified, Palo Alto Certified) are highly desirable.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
