Description
The English Department invites applicants for a full-time 1-year position in Creative Writing beginning fall 2026. The candidate should be a writer of fiction with a secondary specialization in creative nonfiction, or a writer of creative nonfiction with a secondary specialization in fiction. The successful candidate must have an MFA in Creative Writing and experience teaching creative writing courses at the college or university level. They should be willing to teach Introduction to Creative Writing courses and advanced Fiction and Nonfiction workshops and advise creative writing theses. The successful candidate will be expected to teach two courses in the Fall, a one month-long intensive Winter term course, and two courses in the Spring.
