Job description

AFIMAC Canada has both part-time and full-time openings for Train Marshalls.

 

You will Earn:

  • $35 per hour     
  • Accommodation provided when required

Hours:

  • Part-time: 20-33 hours per week (depending on route assigned)
  • Full-time: 35-50 hours per week (depending on route assigned)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly and appropriately to emergency situations
  • Monitor potential threats and adjust security measures
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion in all situations.
  • Collaborate with other security personnel, including drivers, logistical support, and surveillance teams, to ensure the overall safety of subject/s.
  • Maintain an accurate record of any incidents that occur
  • Establish and maintain secure environments.
  • Conduct risk assessments and proactive threat planning
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism

Job Requirements:

  • 2+ years in close protection experience
  • Valid Security License (in province of hiring)
  • Use of Force training
  • Ability to travel and work away from home regularly      
  • Former police/military or close protection training preferred
  • Martial arts or use-of-force background required
  • Excellent communication, judgement, and de-escalation skills
  • Professional grooming and punctuality required
  • Must be customer service-oriented
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment
  • Overnight travel may be required
