Job description

Assistant Professor of Fine Arts Talladega College is seeking qualified, experienced, student-centered, and collegial Assistant Professors to teach in the Fine Arts Department. The department is in the Division of Humanities and Fine Arts. This is a tenure-track, nine-month position that reports to the Department Chair and is slated to begin Fall 2024. Responsibilities ? Teach Fine Arts and studio courses in primarily traditional and blended formats ? Academically advise students, including transfer credits ? Recruit and retain students ? Recommend a schedule of classes to be offered in the department each semester ? Administer college policies and procedures ? Develop and assess program and student learning outcomes ? Actively serve on college committees ? Review and revise department catalog information ? Project a professional, positive, and upbeat disposition ? Meet established deadlines ? Utilize and remain current with the college?s and instructional technologies ? Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications ? A master?s degree in Fine Arts from an accredited institution. ? Evidence of successful college teaching experience is required. ? Excellent verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to detail. Preferred ?
