Job description

Job Description Codeworks, an LRS company, is seeking a Telecommunications Analyst who enjoys solving complex communication challenges, driving technology modernization, and helping organizations stay connected through reliable, enterprise-scale voice solutions. This contract role offers the opportunity to lead a major voice transformation initiative, helping transition an enterprise Avaya environment to Microsoft Teams Voice while supporting critical communication and contact center technologies. Location: Hybrid (Wisconsin Residents Only)Candidates must currently reside in Wisconsin.

Relocation is not available for this position. Responsibilities Analyze and support the migration of enterprise voice services from Avaya to Microsoft Teams Voice. Administer, configure, and support enterprise voice, unified communications, and contact center platforms.

Gather business and technical requirements and recommend solutions aligned with organizational goals. Design, configure, and maintain SIP trunking, session border controllers (SBCs), call routing, dial plans, and E911 services. Design, implement, and support IVR, contact center, and call-flow solutions.

Configure and optimize VoIP, video conferencing, and telephony systems to improve service quality and operational efficiency. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions. Develop documentation, training materials, standards, and support procedures.

Collaborate with business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, and support staff on voice and communications initiatives. Provide technical leadership for voice modernization, enhancement, and implementation projects. Assist with incident management, system monitoring, and operational support activities.

Support occasional early morning, evening, or weekend work associated with implementations and maintenance activities. Qualifications 3+ years of experience administering enterprise voice and unified communications environments. Strong experience supporting Avaya voice platforms.

Experience with SIP trunking, SBCs, dial plans, call routing, and E911 administration. Experience designing, implementing, and supporting contact center and IVR solutions. Experience planning and executing voice migration, modernization, or implementation projects.

Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to create user-friendly technical documentation and training materials.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across technical and business teams. Reliable transportation and ability to support occasional onsite activities. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Microsoft Teams Voice administration and deployment.

Microsoft Teams Voice certifications. Experience with Landis Contact Center solutions. ITIL certification.

Experience supporting large enterprise or public-sector communication environments. Avaya certifications such as ACIS, AIPS, ACSS, or ASPS. The base range for this contract position is $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending on experience
