ADP is hiring a Senior Machine Learning Engineer.

In this role, you will work to bring designs and ideas to life for our application development and AI/ML platform. This work will support a mix of internal and external clients. You will work with clients, product managers, architects, software engineers, and more to plan, design, develop, test, and implement impactful solutions that support companies with one to millions of employees.
You will start your day on a scrum call to prioritize and track work. Within the team you work on, you will choose user stories to work within a sprint cycle. You will spend most of your day developing and testing your code. Every three weeks, you will be involved in the release activities.
To thrive in this development career, you'll need to have experience in delivering AI/ML solutions including LLMs and NLP, Python, Java, J2EE, Angular, Sprint Frameworks, CICD, AWS. You'll need to be familiar with web services, RESTful APIs, Database concepts, Caching Solutions, AWS, and open-source tools such as Apache KAFKA. Experience with Angular UI development is plus. Each sprint cycle could have a heavy front-end focus, a heavy back-end focus, a heavy batch job focus, or a mix of them, so you'll need experience working with front-end and back-end technologies. You'll have a hands-on role designing, developing, debugging, and deploying software solutions where you can leverage your expertise with code complexities. WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Here's what you can expect on a typical day:

• You'll work in a team to understand responsibilities, identify issues and coding priorities while choosing user stories to complete. You will also participate in other agile ceremonies, including sprint demos, where you will present your work to stakeholders.
• Build Products. You will use your technical expertise to build robust applications that meet business needs in an Agile environment. You're proactive and hands-on. When you see a potential issue, you never leave things hanging and unfinished. When you deliver a finished product, it's as polished as you could make it.
• Collaborate. You are constantly looking for ways to share your knowledge.
• Variety of work. There is no typical day. You could be checking in with a team in India one minute, meeting with leadership to review initiatives for the coming quarter later and tomorrow handling a few ad hoc requests from your peers in other departments.
• Influence and inspire confidence. You are comfortable presenting to senior leaders, product owners, and peers with a compelling voice that you demonstrate through technical expertise presence, leading change, and creating clear executive-level communications on milestone achievements.
• Experience. You have 5 - 7+ years of experience in relevant skills gained and developed in the same or similar role.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

• You'll have a Bachelor's degree OR equivalent.
• Developer with 5 - 7+ years' experience in AI/ML solutions and Application development using Python, Java and AWS.
• Experience with LLMs and NLP.
• Analysis, design, development, and implementation of front-end and backend solutions including AI based chatbots.
• Document technical architecture and collaborate with enterprise teams to build enterprise level applications.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends.
• Experience developing API by following WebServices and JSON Patterns.
• Experience of writing unit tests and Functional tests.
• Proficiency in RDBMS such as DB2 or Oracle and NoSQL databases such as Mongo or DynamoDB.
• Excellent Debugging skills .
• Knowledge of Messaging frameworks like Kafka.
• Design and Development of Batch Processing.
• Experience facilitating code reviews, code quality checks
• Experience working with Product Owners to plan future work for the team
• Strong communication, Presentation, and organization skills.
• Must effectively collaborate with developers and other relevant team members.
• Must be able to work independently or in a team setting.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. A Master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering or a related discipline is preferred
• Experience with Angular UI development is plus
• Practical experience working in Agile environments and product-focused technology organizations
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines

Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity or commissions. The compensation for this role is $61,800.00 - $165,330.00 / Year
