HR Business Partner
Location: Rochester, MN (100% Onsite)
Targeting candidates from Rochester, Owatonna, Austin, Albert Lea, Winona, Red Wing, Faribault, Mankato, La Crosse (WI), Decorah (IA), and surrounding communities.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (Onsite)
About the Role
Benchmark is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead Human Resources for our Rochester manufacturing facility. This role is ideal for a hands-on HR professional who thrives in employee relations while also helping drive workforce planning, leadership development, and organizational growth.
Initially, the role will focus heavily on employee relations, investigations, compliance, performance management, and manager coaching. Over time, you'll partner closely with site leadership to shape workforce strategy, organizational effectiveness, and culture initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead employee relations, investigations, performance management, and HR compliance.
  • Coach and support managers on people-related issues and leadership development.
  • Partner with site leadership on workforce planning, employee engagement, and organizational change.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and employee experience.
  • Provide guidance to an HR Generalist and Receptionist.
  • Collaborate with corporate HR and Talent Acquisition teams.

Qualifications
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field.
  • 6+ years of progressive HR experience.
  • Strong employee relations, investigations, and performance management experience.
  • Knowledge of employment law and HR compliance.
  • Experience coaching leaders and partnering with business teams.

Preferred:
  • Manufacturing, industrial, or engineering environment experience.
  • Experience with workforce planning, change management, or leadership development.
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification.
