Job description

We Are

Accenture is a leading global professional services company that helps the world's leading businesses, governments and other organizations build their digital core, optimize their operations, accelerate revenue growth and enhance citizen services-creating tangible value at speed and scale. We are a talent and innovation led company with 738,000 people serving clients in more than 120 countries. Technology is at the core of change today, and we are one of the world's leaders in helping drive that change, with strong ecosystem relationships. We combine our strength in technology with unmatched industry experience, functional expertise and global delivery capability.

There is never a typical day at Accenture, but that's why we love it here! This is an extraordinary chance to create a rewarding career at Accenture Technology. Working in a digitally driven, innovation-led environment where you can help clients shift to the New using leading-edge technologies on some of the coolest projects you can imagine.

The Work

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Practice Leader, Artificial Intelligence to define and drive our AI strategy within our mid-market SAP business group. This is a foundational role for a leader who can operate at the intersection of enterprise technology, go-to-market strategy, and client-facing consulting - building a differentiated AI practice purpose-built for the mid-market SAP segment.

You will be responsible for developing our core AI offerings, shaping our messaging and positioning, and working in close collaboration with broader Accenture capabilities to adapt enterprise-grade tools and frameworks for the unique needs of mid-market clients. This role is both a builder and a thought leader: you will set the vision, create the assets, and help our teams win and deliver.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Practice & Offering Development

  • Define and build a portfolio of AI offerings tailored to mid-market SAP clients, including use-case accelerators, delivery frameworks, and packaged solutions that balance sophistication with speed-to-value

  • Translate Accenture's broader AI assets, methodologies, and alliances into right-sized offerings appropriate for mid-market scale, budget, and organizational maturity

  • Establish and continuously refine the practice's delivery model, including talent requirements, tooling standards, and quality benchmarks

  • Develop reusable assets - solution blueprints, ROI models, demo environments, and implementation playbooks - that enable the broader team to sell and deliver consistently

Go-to-Market & Messaging

  • Craft compelling, differentiated positioning and messaging for our AI capabilities in the mid-market SAP space, clearly articulating value in business terms

  • Partner with sales, marketing, and account teams to embed AI themes into client conversations, proposals, and pursuit strategies

  • Develop thought leadership content - points of view, case studies, client presentations - that establishes our group as a credible AI partner for mid-market enterprises

  • Represent the practice externally at client briefings, industry events, and SAP ecosystem forums

Accenture Collaboration & Enablement

  • Serve as the primary liaison between our mid-market business group and Accenture's broader AI, data, and technology practices, ensuring we leverage enterprise investments without over-engineering for our segment

  • Work with Accenture Centers of Excellence, alliance teams (including SAP BTP and AI integrations), and technology partners to access and adapt relevant capabilities

  • Advocate internally for mid-market-specific investments, tooling adaptations, and resource commitments within the broader Accenture ecosystem

Leadership & Community Building

  • Build and mentor a growing community of AI practitioners within the business group, fostering a culture of learning, experimentation, and applied innovation

  • Define capability development pathways and work with talent leaders to recruit, upskill, and retain AI talent relevant to our client base

  • Track emerging AI technologies, SAP AI roadmap developments, and competitor positioning to ensure the practice remains current and competitive

Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.

Here's what you need

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in enterprise technology consulting, with a meaningful portion focused on AI, data, or advanced analytics

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience developing or scaling a consulting practice, service line, or solution offering - ideally within a systems integration or professional services context

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with SAP ecosystems (S/4HANA, BTP, or equivalent), and an understanding of how AI intersects with core ERP processes (finance, supply chain, HR, procurement, etc.)

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working within a matrixed, large-enterprise organization and navigating shared services, CoEs, and alliance relationships

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate's Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)

Professional Skills Required

  • Proven ability to translate technical AI capabilities into client-ready narratives and business value propositions

  • Strong executive presence and communication skills; comfortable presenting to C-suite audiences and leading large, multi-stakeholder conversations

Bonus points if you have

  • Prior experience at Accenture or a comparable global systems integrator with an understanding of how enterprise practices are structured and governed

  • Familiarity with mid-market business dynamics, including constraints around budget, change management capacity, and IT organizational maturity

  • Hands-on experience with AI tools and platforms relevant to SAP environments (e.g., SAP AI Core, Microsoft Azure AI, Google Vertex AI, or similar)

  • Experience with GenAI use cases in enterprise applications - document intelligence, process automation, conversational interfaces, predictive analytics

  • Background in solution architecture or delivery leadership, with enough technical depth to guide architectural decisions and credibly engage with delivery teams

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired as set forth below.
