ADGA is hiring an Intelligence Mission Data Systems Analyst to support the options Analysis and definition phase activities for our defence client on their Intelligence Mission Data (IMD) project.

The Senior Systems Analyst will work collaboratively with stakeholders providing analytical and technical assistance to identify, assess, and document viable solution options for the IMD project.

The Intelligence Mission Data Systems Analyst will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Interact with Users and customers in order to identify requirements and define business requirements.
  • Facilitate and organize workshops to develop system use cases and information flows
  • Develop and refine System requirement specification and traceability to business requirements
  • Develop System Specification into overall solution concept and provide input for system development and design
  • Provide Technical solution alternatives and perform options analysis
  • Evaluate proposed technical solutions and/or products in comparing products, documenting the degree of suitability and compliancy to the system requirements
  • Assess, identify, and plan for organizational impact of proposed technical solutions and ensure the new technical solution is properly integrated with existing business processes
  • Participate in the testing of the solution and ensure compliance with the system requirements and overall solution
  • Prepare briefing notes and presentations and other responses to the Project Staff as required
  • Participate in Project Meetings as required and identified by the Technical Authority or designated representative
  • Prepare agendas, minutes of meetings, meeting history report and action item reports; and
  • Prepare weekly progress reports
Qualifications
  • A Degree or Diploma from a recognized university or college in the sciences, engineering, or IM/IT related studies
  • 10+ years of recent experience in the following areas:
    • Gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements for the development of new IM/IT systems.
    • Translating business requirements for new IM/IT systems into systems specifications and designs, including requirements traceability.
    • Analyzing and recommending IM/IT alternatives and options to satisfy business requirements
  • 7+ years years of recent experience in the following areas:
    • Developing System Use Cases or Storyboards to inform system requirements and design.
    • Analyzing and recommending technical specifications for systems development, design and implementation.
    • Ensuring that new technical requirements are properly integrated with existing processes
    • Identifying, understanding, and planning for organizational impacts of planned systems.
  • Must have professional knowledge and experience with IBM Engineering Requirements Management DOORS
