Applicant Pool for Adjunct Faculty, Lab Assistant, Ceramics
Job Description:

Monitor and assist students while they are working in the Ceramics Lab.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Applicant must have working knowledge of ceramics, hand building, glazing and kiln operations.

  • Applicant must be able to communicate with students, work well with faculty and under the requirement of student projects. In addition, have a working knowledge of ceramics.

  • Applicant must have a working knowledge of the tools, uses and safety protocols for a working ceramics lab.

Essential Functions:

  • Assist students with projects in the ceramics lab.

Other Characteristics:

  • Applicant must be a good listener, committed to helping students as well as maintain a safe and clean ceramics lab.

Minimum Education/Experience:

  • Associate degree or two-year technical certificate

  • 2 years' experience in a related field of Fine Art OR equivalent work experience in fine art/ceramics.
