Job Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, engaging in detailed reviews of medical histories and performing physical examinations
• Assist in evaluating and diagnosing surgical conditions through the interpretation of imaging studies and lab results
• Work closely with surgeons to create and implement tailored surgical treatment plans for patients
• Provide invaluable intraoperative support, including prepping surgical areas, ensuring proper patient positioning, and managing instrument handoffs during procedures
• Deliver high-quality pre- and post-operative care: administer medications, manage wounds, develop discharge plans, and educate patients

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preference given to candidates with surgical-focused clinical rotations

Credentials

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) required as a Physician Assistant
