Position Summary/Responsibilities: 




Design and deliver engaging, student-centered instruction that adheres to state curriculum and standards using a variety of teaching methods to meet the diverse learning needs and styles of students;
Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment where all students feel supported and challenged;
Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and evidence based interventions as appropriate;
Communicate effectively with students, parents, administrators, and colleagues regarding student progress and potential areas for improvement;
Stay current with best practices and professional development opportunities;
Monitor students and adjust instructional strategies and methods to ensure that achievement expectations are met;
Complete student report cards;
Access appropriate resources and conduct research as needed to support Next Generation ELA Standards;
Focus on use of data driven instruction and assessment analysis used to plan and facilitate building and district level PLCs;
All other duties as assigned.
All teachers who are new to Greece will be required to attend two teacher induction days in August.
Additionally, all Teachers will be required to to work per the school calendar.
