Art Instructor Wanted for our Drawing, Oil & Pastel Painting Classes

We are looking for a talented, creative artist to share their enthusiasm, skills and love of art with our students.

Mainstreet Art Center is a School of Fine Art in downtown Lake Zurich. We have wonderful team of fine artists working and painting here. We have a supportive and positive community with friendly and team-based staff. Our team has been creating artists for over 32 years. Our students are amazing! They thrive with good direction, positive feedback and some freedom to create & explore their many options. Classes are mixed level with beginners to very seasoned painters in each class.

Required Skills: must have good drawing and oil painting skills. Be able to help problem solve and have a creative flair using various teaching methods as needed.

Teaching Experience is preferred; but we are willing to train the right applicant. 12-14 students per class. We offer many professional growth opportunities to develop your skills as a fine artist, including classes and workshops

 We have scheduled breaks and holidays that align with the District 95 school calendar.

 Opportunity to display your own artwork at our gallery next door.

Art Instructor Wanted for our Kids Drawing & Acrylic Painting Classes

We are looking for a talented, creative artist to share their enthusiasm, skills and love of art with our kids.

Mainstreet Art Center is a School of Fine Art in downtown Lake Zurich. We have wonderful team of fine artists working and painting here. We have a supportive and positive community with friendly and team-based staff. Our team has been creating artists for over 32 years. Our kids are amazing! They thrive with good direction, positive feedback and some freedom to create & explore their many options. This position is for a substitute teacher. It could lead to a more permanent position.

Required Skills: must have good drawing and acrylic painting skills. Be able to help problem solve and have a creative flair using various teaching methods as needed.

 Teaching Experience is preferred; but we are willing to train the right applicant. Eight to nine kids in a class.

 We have scheduled breaks and holidays that align with the District 95 school calendar.

 Opportunity to display your own artwork at our gallery next door.
