In an Art Finance position, you’ll typically analyze art collections, research market trends, and appraise works to advise on loans, investments, or sales. You may also liaise with clients, auction houses, galleries, and legal professionals to structure financial agreements or manage art-backed assets. Additional responsibilities often include preparing detailed reports, managing due diligence documentation, and staying updated on global art market developments. Collaboration with colleagues in finance, legal, and art sectors is common, making strong interpersonal and organizational skills essential for success.

To thrive in Art Finance, you need a solid grounding in financial analysis, art market knowledge, and asset valuation, often supported by a degree in finance, art history, or related fields.
