Job description

Aon is looking for a Private Client Account Executive - Broker

As part of an industry-leading team responsible for the day-to-day account management and broking of personal insurance programs for affluent collector clients and families, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions supporting the Art & Collections Practice within the Aon Private Risk Management division. This position is hybrid, working out of our Atlanta, GA office. As an Account Executive - Broker, you will report directly to the Director of the Art & Collections Practice.

What the day will look like:

  • Broker and manage an assigned book of select personal Valuable Articles policies and Corporate Collection policies.
  • Be a resource for Aon colleagues and respond to requests pertaining to art and collections insurance and risk management. This includes: assisting with marketing Valuable Articles insurance programs, providing referrals for vetted vendors (appraisers, conservators, art handlers and storage companies, etc.), providing best practice guidance pertaining to art and collections risk mitigation, and performing schedule reconciliations.
  • Support Art & Collections team members and team leader with Thought Leadership, Best Practices, vendor vetting and vendor list management, and other tasks.
  • Process changes and other client requests in a timely manner.
  • Conduct annual reviews for clients ahead of key renewal dates.
  • Assist with claims management for collections claims for Private Risk Management clients.
  • Attend and travel for client meetings and art events when client or prospect is involved, as needed.
  • Responsible for return-on-investment opportunities when participating in art events.
  • Respond to client issues in an appropriate manner. The time service standard: returning a phone call within 24 hours and responding to email by the end of the day. Process changes and endorsements within 48 hours of receipt.
  • Develop and maintain meaningful working relationships with insurers, clients, referral sources, and colleagues through regular contact and interaction.
  • Maintain awareness of all insurance carrier partner products, services, and systems.
  • Fully utilize internal client management system to maintain policies, client correspondence, coordinate billing activities, and management client related tasks.
  • Achieve assigned transparency, disclosure, and compliance goals and foster innovative solutions to drive success for our clients.
  • Coordinate client-related billing matters and maintains aged receivables reports
  • Support growth of book of business through rounding of accounts and through new business production. 

Skills and experience that will lead to success:

  • Property and Casualty Broker's License required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience within the business or fine arts industry.

Education: 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of industry experience.
  • Masters or advanced degree in art and/or art business is preferred.

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $80,000 to $100,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.  The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary.  The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
