This position will report directly to the Branch Sales Manager and assist with all aspects of leading the residential HVAC sales team, including sales performance, coaching, training, accountability, and day-to-day operations. Previous HVAC industry experience is required.

Job Description and Responsibilities

In this key leadership role, you'll work directly with the Branch Sales Manager to support all aspects of the residential HVAC sales department and help drive team performance and growth.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assist the Sales Manager with the day-to-day leadership and management of the HVAC sales team.
  • Coach, train, and develop sales representatives to improve performance and achieve sales goals.
  • Monitor individual and team performance, identify opportunities, and implement action plans.
  • Conduct regular ride-alongs, field coaching, and performance evaluations.
  • Assist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training new sales representatives.
  • Support sales meetings, ongoing product training, and sales development.
  • Reinforce effective sales techniques, customer communication, and HVAC solution presentation.
  • Review sales opportunities and help representatives improve closing rates and overall performance.
  • Help ensure customers are presented with appropriate HVAC solutions based on their home's needs.
  • Support accountability around company processes, policies, performance expectations, and customer experience.
  • Assist the Sales Manager with reporting, forecasting, scheduling, and other daily departmental responsibilities.
  • Step in to support the leadership of the sales department as needed.

Qualifications

Requirements
  • Previous HVAC industry experience required.
  • 2–3+ years of in-home sales experience; previous sales leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of residential HVAC products, systems, and replacement solutions.
  • Proven ability to coach, train, motivate, and develop sales professionals.
  • Strong sales and customer-service experience with demonstrated success achieving results.
  • Ability to analyze performance, identify opportunities, and implement solutions.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivated, and committed to professional growth and success.
