Job description

About the Position: Serves as the Classification Branch Chief performing operational assignments in Civilian Human Resources Agency (CHRA). CHRA is responsible for operational HR effectiveness worldwide to include establishing and maintaining standards and measurements, total quality management, organizational development and workforce utilization for the Army's delivery of civilian personnel administrative services.Qualifications:

GS-13 Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes meeting the following: 1) Providing technical advisory services to management on position classification, which includes writing and evaluating position descriptions, applying OPM classification standards and/or guides to determine the correct title, series, and grade, 2) Advising managers on strategic organizational design, career path development, and/or the impact of reorganization on positions, and 3) Resolving complex or controversial classification issues. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
Qualification requirement: Qualifications must be met by the closing date of this announcement.
