Job description

Compass Medical Provider, LLC is seeking a skilled and experienced Phlebotomist to support the New Mexico Army National Guard during scheduled occupational health events in Santa Fe, NM on Thursday, August 20th, 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced phlebotomist to provide meaningful support to service members while earning additional income in a professional, mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform blood draws for HIV, G6PD, DNA, Heavy Metals, and on-site Lipid Panels
  • Follow established collection, identification, labeling, and specimen-handling protocols
  • Maintain strict attention to detail and accuracy throughout the collection process
  • Provide professional, respectful, and soldier-focused care
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Adhere to all applicable safety, infection-control, and company procedures
  • Participate in mandatory event training prior to performing services
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience, preferred
  • Active Phlebotomy/Medical Assistant registration/certification, preferred
  • Demonstrated proficiency and confidence with venipuncture and blood collection
  • Strong knowledge of proper specimen collection and handling procedures
  • Scrubs required while performing services
  • Prior military experience preferred, but not required
  • Professional demeanor and the ability to work effectively with military personnel
