Digital Consultants is seeking an Asset Management Specialist to join our team!

The Asset Management Specialist will maintain inventory, financial, and contractual data to manage Land Mobile Radio (LMR) assets throughout their life cycle. This includes tracking all Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA) LMR assets at PFPA warehouse locations. The Asset Management Specialist will ensure that all LMR assets and components are properly received, documented, and stored to maintain accurate accountability. Additionally, the Asset Management Specialist will implement a comprehensive tracking system for all assets and components to ensure proper forecasting and inventory management. 


Duties to include:

  • Managing LMR equipment, including portable and mobile radios from procurement to end of life.
  • Collaborate with engineers and property teams to program, issue and receive radio equipment. 
  • Ensure compliance with DoD and PFPA policies, including preparation and management of DD1150 hand receipts. 
  • Track and document assets using the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS).
  • Monitor inventory levels to forecast and maintain appropriate stock for operational readiness. 
Requirements:
  • Education: High School diploma with five years’ experience (DoD or military preferred), or a bachelor’s degree with a focus in business administration, logistics, or telecommunications, with one year of equivalent work experience.
  • Clearance: Secret
  • Familiarity with DoD property management regulations and accountability standards.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Administrative and procedural development.
  • Asset Management.


Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in military or government environments.
  • Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) in logistics. Applicable MOS’ include:
