Armed Security Officer

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday | 8:15am to 5:30pm

Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour

Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Armed Security Officer to join our team in Philadelphia. This position requires you to be vigilant, professional, and capable of providing a safe and secure environment. You will be stationed in a standing position and responsible for ensuring the security of the designated premises.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide security for the property, ensuring the safety of employees, visitors, and property.
  • Monitor and patrol the assigned area to detect any security risks or violations.
  • Respond to emergencies and alarms in a timely and effective manner.
  • Maintain a professional presence and represent the company with integrity.
  • Enforce security policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment.
  • Perform routine checks, both on-site and via security systems.

Requirements:

  • Must possess a valid Act 235 certification.
  • Must have your own firearm and holster.
  • Level 2 or above retention holster required.
  • Prior armed security experience preferred.
  • Ability to work weekends (a must).
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods.
