Armed security guards must meet strict qualifications, including background checks and firearms training, to ensure they can safely and legally carry weapons on the job. They typically work in high-risk environments such as banks, government buildings, or events where greater security is required. Their presence helps enhance safety and provide a rapid response to potential threats.

What are some of the main challenges armed security professionals face on the job?

Armed security professionals often encounter challenges such as staying vigilant during long or irregular shifts, managing potentially tense or high-risk situations calmly, and ensuring adherence to strict protocols and legal guidelines.
