As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Security Patrol in Rochester, NY, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $30.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time Fri 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and drivers at a food and beverage production and distribution location while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical events, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for personnel, visitors, contractors, and delivery vehicles in accordance with site requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, patrol activities, and security-related concerns accurately and promptly, escalating issues to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
